Missing Number - 2025

1. Probe description

The Missing Number probe assesses students’ number sequence understanding through two test types:

  • Missing Number Ascending (MNA): Students identify whether a sequence of numbers is in ascending order (tick ✓ or cross ✗)
  • Missing Number Choice (MNC): Students select the correct missing number from multiple options

In 2025 there are four forms used in the screening:

  • MNA0-20 (Foundation B) and MNC0-20 (Foundation A)
  • MNA0-100 (Year 1A) and MNC0-100 (Year 1B)

All forms are administered at BOY (Term 1), MOY (Term 3), and EOY (Term 4).

This report excludes ABR alternate forms (is_abr == TRUE).
